Description:
An album promoting Oakland and East Bay industrial facilities and real estate containing photographs by the Cheney Photo Advertising Co. Each page displays a single photograph with a caption. Some of the images scanned poorly due to warping of the originals. Two pages reproduce paintings, one depicting the proposed bascule bridge for Oakland's inner harbor. The album also includes some pages of text containing industrial statistics and descriptions of proposed developments, including a naval base. "Compliments of Senator Arthur H. Breed, Jr., Alameda County" printed on a sticker adhered on the inside cover. "Cheney Photo Adv. Co." is embossed on the inside cover and on individual pages.
