1Praisethe LORD!For it is goodto singpraisesto our God;For it is pleasant[and] praiseis becoming.

2The LORDbuildsup Jerusalem;He gathersthe outcastsof Israel.

3He healsthe brokenheartedAnd bindsup their wounds.

4He countsthe numberof the stars;He givesnamesto allof them.

5Greatis our Lordand abundantin strength;His understandingis infinite.

6The LORDsupportsthe afflicted;He bringsdownthe wickedto the ground.

7Singto the LORDwith thanksgiving;Singpraisesto our Godon the lyre,

8Who coversthe heavenswith clouds,Who providesrainfor the earth,Who makes grassto growon the mountains.

9He givesto the beastits food,[And] to the youngravenswhichcry.

10He does not delightin the strengthof the horse;He does not takepleasurein the legsof a man.

11The LORDfavorsthose who fearHim, Those who waitfor His lovingkindness.

12Praisethe LORD,O Jerusalem!Praiseyour God,O Zion!

13For He has strengthenedthe barsof your gates;He has blessedyour sonswithinyou.

14He makespeacein your borders;He satisfiesyou with the finestof the wheat.

15He sendsforth His commandto the earth;His wordrunsveryswiftly.

16He givessnowlike wool;He scattersthe frostlike ashes.

17He castsforth His iceas fragments;Whocan standbeforeHis cold?

18He sendsforth His wordand meltsthem; He causes His windto blowand the watersto flow.

19He declaresHis wordsto Jacob,His statutesand His ordinancesto Israel.

20He has not dealtthuswith anynation;And as for His ordinances,they have not knownthem. Praisethe LORD!
