The Mountain of the Lord's Temple
1But in the lastdaysit shall come to pass, [that] the mountainof the houseof the LORDshall be establishedin the topof the mountains,and it shall be exaltedabove the hills;and peopleshall flowunto it.
2And manynationsshall come,and say,Come,and let us go upto the mountainof the LORD,and to the houseof the Godof Jacob;and he will teachus of his ways,and we will walkin his paths:for the lawshall go forthof Zion,and the wordof the LORDfrom Jerusalem.
3And he shall judgeamong manypeople,and rebukestrongnationsafar off;and they shall beattheir swordsinto plowshares,and their spearsinto pruninghooks:nationshall not lift upa swordagainst nation,neither shall they learnwarany more.
4But they shall sitevery manunder his vineand under his fig tree;and none shall make [them] afraid:for the mouthof the LORDof hostshath spoken[it].
5For all peoplewill walkevery onein the nameof his god,and we will walkin the nameof the LORDour Godfor everand ever.
The Restoration of Zion
6In that day,saiththe LORD,will I assembleher that halteth,and I will gatherher that is driven out,and her that I have afflicted;
7And I will makeher that halteda remnant,and her that was cast far offa strongnation:and the LORDshall reignover them in mountZionfrom henceforth, even forever.
8And thou, O towerof the flock,the strong holdof the daughterof Zion,unto thee shall it come,even the firstdominion;the kingdomshall cometo the daughterof Jerusalem.
9Now why dost thou cryout aloud?[is there] no kingin thee? is thy counsellorperished?for pangshave takenthee as a woman in travail.
10Be in pain,and labour to bring forth,O daughterof Zion,like a woman in travail:for now shalt thou go forthout of the city,and thou shalt dwellin the field,and thou shalt go[even] to Babylon;there shalt thou be delivered;there the LORDshall redeemthee from the handof thine enemies.
11Now also manynationsare gatheredagainst thee, that say,Let her be defiled,and let our eyelookupon Zion.
12But they knownot the thoughtsof the LORD,neither understandthey his counsel:for he shall gatherthem as the sheavesinto the floor.
13Ariseand thresh,O daughterof Zion:for I will makethine horniron,and I will makethy hoofsbrass:and thou shalt beat in piecesmanypeople:and I will consecratetheir gainunto the LORD,and their substanceunto the Lordof the whole earth.
