SugaR,
aStockfishderivative byMarco Zerbinati. Its appearance first discussed inCCC in October 2014[2],SugaRXPrO 1.2 64-bit 4CPU became Stockfish version top contender in the 2017CCRL 40/40 rating list[3]. As pointed out byNorman Schmidt, SugaRXPrO 1.3, released in September 2017, had additional code not inside the current Stockfish development version, featuringtransposition tables withlarge pages,persistent hash,Cerebellum book, variousendgame functions,fortress detection, and various tweaks andUCI options[4].
