Marc Lanctot,
a Canadian computer scientist atGoogleDeepMind involved in theAlphaZero project, and before post-doctoral researcher for theMaastricht University Games and AI Group[2] ofMark Winands. He holds a M.Sc. fromMcGill University in 2005[3] , and a Ph.D. fromUniversity of Alberta in 2013[4] . Marc is generally interested inAI,machine learning, andgames. His current research focus is onsampling algorithms forequilibrium computation anddecision-making, as well as variants ofMonte-Carlo Tree Search.
