Temperature's rising as Justin brings Bieber fever to Birmingham (with video)

He came out of nowhere (or seemed to, anyway) streaking across the music world in 2009 like a mop-topped comet.
Before you could say, “Baby, baby, baby” or “Oooh, girl,”
cemented his reputation as the new teen phenom, dominating the charts and making girls scream.
For nearly two years now, he’s been ubiquitous in pop culture -- smiling on magazine covers, peaking on radio playlists, appearing on TV talk shows, singing for President Obama, waving at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Heck, Bieber’s even been interviewed by Barbara Walters, who selected the 16-year-old star as one of “The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2010.”
Now the Biebs and his “My World” tour -- an extremely apt name -- come to Birmingham on Dec. 21 at the BJCC Arena. (The show is sold out, so don't even think about snagging last-minute tickets.)
