1Then Mosesassembledallthe congregationof the sonsof Israel,and saidto them, "Theseare the thingsthat the LORDhas commanded[you] to do:
2"For sixdaysworkmay be done,but on the seventhdayyou shall havea holy[day], a sabbathof completerestto the LORD;whoeverdoesany workon it shall be putto death.3"You shall not kindlea firein anyof your dwellingson the sabbathday."
4Mosesspoketo allthe congregationof the sonsof Israel,saying,"Thisis the thingwhichthe LORDhas commanded,saying,5Takefrom among you a contributionto the LORD;whoeveris of a willingheart,let him bringit as the LORD'Scontribution:gold,silver,and bronze,6and blue,purpleand scarlet[material], finelinen,goats'[hair],7and rams'skinsdyedred,and porpoiseskins,and acaciawood,8and oilfor lighting,and spicesfor the anointingoil,and for the fragrantincense,9and onyxstonesand settingstonesfor the ephodand for the breastpiece.
10Let everyskillfulmanamong you come,and makeallthat the LORDhas commanded:11the tabernacle,its tentand its covering,its hooksand its boards,its bars,its pillars,and its sockets;12the arkand its poles,the mercyseat,and the curtainof the screen;13the tableand its poles,and allits utensils,and the breadof the Presence;14the lampstandalso for the lightand its utensilsand its lampsand the oilfor the light;15and the altarof incenseand its poles,and the anointingoiland the fragrantincense,and the screenfor the doorwayat the entranceof the tabernacle;16the altarof burntofferingwith its bronzegrating,its poles,and allits utensils,the basinand its stand;17the hangingsof the court,its pillarsand its sockets,and the screenfor the gateof the court;18the pegsof the tabernacleand the pegsof the courtand their cords;19the wovengarmentsfor ministeringin the holyplace, the holygarmentsfor Aaronthe priestand the garmentsof his sons,to ministeras priests.'"
20Then allthe congregationof the sonsof Israeldepartedfrom Moses'presence.21Everyonewhoseheartstirredhim and everyonewhosespiritmovedhim came[and] broughtthe LORD'Scontributionfor the workof the tentof meetingand for allits serviceand for the holygarments.22Then allwhose heartsmovedthem, both menand women,came[and] broughtbroochesand earringsand signetringsand bracelets,allarticlesof gold;so [did] everymanwhopresentedan offeringof goldto the LORD.23Everyman,whohadin his possessionblueand purpleand scarlet[material] and finelinenand goats'[hair] and rams'skinsdyedredand porpoiseskins,broughtthem.24Everyonewho could makea contributionof silverand bronzebroughtthe LORD'Scontribution;and everyman whohadin his possessionacaciawoodfor anyworkof the servicebroughtit.25Allthe skilledwomenspunwith their hands,and broughtwhatthey had spun,[in] blueand purple[and] scarlet[material] and [in] finelinen.26Allthe womenwhoseheartstirredwith a skillspunthe goats'[hair].27The rulersbroughtthe onyxstonesand the stonesfor settingfor the ephodand for the breastpiece;28and the spiceand the oilfor the lightand for the anointingoiland for the fragrantincense.29The Israelites,allthe menand women,whoseheartmovedthem to bring[material] for allthe work,whichthe LORDhad commandedthroughMosesto be done,broughta freewillofferingto the LORD.
30Then Mosessaidto the sonsof Israel,"See,the LORDhas calledby nameBezalelthe sonof Uri,the sonof Hur,of the tribeof Judah.31"And He has filledhim with the Spiritof God,in wisdom,in understandingand in knowledgeand in allcraftsmanship;32to makedesignsfor workingin goldand in silverand in bronze,33and in the cuttingof stonesfor settingsand in the carvingof wood,so as to performin everyinventivework.34"He also has putin his heartto teach,both he and Oholiab,the sonof Ahisamach,of the tribeof Dan.35"He has filledthem with skillto performeveryworkof an engraverand of a designerand of an embroiderer,in blueand in purple[and] in scarlet[material], and in finelinen,and of a weaver,as performersof everyworkand makersof designs.
