1Andit came to passafterward,thathewentthroughout everycityandvillage,preachingandshewing the glad tidingsof the kingdomof God:andthe twelve[were] withhim,2Andcertainwomen,whichhad beenhealedofevilspiritsandinfirmities,MarycalledMagdalene,out ofwhomwentsevendevils,3AndJoannathe wifeof ChuzaHerod'ssteward,andSusanna,andmanyothers,whichministeredunto himoftheirsubstance.
The Parable of the Sower
(Matthew 13:1-9;Mark 4:1-9)
4Andwhen muchpeoplewere gathered together,andwere cometohimout of everycity,he spakebya parable:5A sowerwent outto sowhisseed:andashesowed,somefellbythe way side;andit was trodden down,andthe fowlsof the airdevouredit.6Andsomefellupona rock;andas soon as it was sprung up,it withered away,becauseit lackedmoisture.7Andsomefellamongthorns;andthe thornssprang up with it,and choked{5625;1970:5656} it.8Andotherfellongoodground,andsprang up,and barefruitan hundredfold.And when he had saidthese things,he cried,He that hathearsto hear,let him hear.
9Andhisdisciplesaskedhim,saying,Whatmightthisparablebe?10Andhe said,Unto youit is givento knowthe mysteriesof the kingdomof God:butto othersinparables;thatseeingthey mightnotsee,andhearingthey mightnotunderstand.
11Nowthe parableisthis:The seedisthe wordof God.12Thosebythe way sidearethey that hear;thencomeththe devil,andtaketh awaythe wordout oftheirhearts,lestthey should believeand be saved.13<1161> They onthe rock[are they], which,whenthey hear,receivethe wordwithjoy;andthesehavenoroot,whichfora whilebelieve,andintimeof temptationfall away.14Andthat which fellamongthornsarethey,which, when they have heard,go forth,andare chokedwithcaresandrichesandpleasuresof [this] life,andbringnofruit to perfection.15Butthat onthe goodgroundarethey,whichinan honestandgoodheart,having heardthe word,keep[it], andbring forth fruitwithpatience.

Demons Cast into Pigs

32Andthere wastherean herdof manyswinefeedingonthe mountain:andthey besoughthimthathe would sufferthemto enterintothem.Andhe sufferedthem.33Thenwentthe devilsout ofthe man,and enteredintothe swine:andthe herdranviolently downa steepplace intothe lake,andwere choked.
34Whenthey that fed[them] sawwhat was done,they fled,andwentand told[it] inthe cityandinthe country.35Thenthey went outto seewhat was done;andcametoJesus,andfoundthe man,out ofwhomthe devilswere departed,sittingatthe feetof Jesus,clothed,andin his right mind:andthey were afraid.36<1161> They alsowhich saw[it] toldthemby what meanshe that was possessed of the devilswas healed.37Thenthe wholemultitudeof the countryof the Gadarenesround aboutbesoughthimto departfromthem;forthey were takenwith greatfear:andhewent upintothe ship,and returned back again.38Nowthe manout ofwhomthe devilswere departedbesoughthimthat he might bewithhim:butJesussenthimaway,saying,39Returntothine ownhouse,andshewhow great thingsGodhath doneunto thee.Andhe went his way,and publishedthroughoutthe wholecityhow great thingsJesushad doneunto him.
The Healing Touch of Jesus

40Andit came to pass,that, whenJesuswas returned,the people[gladly] receivedhim:forthey wereallwaiting forhim.41And,behold,there camea mannamedJairus,andhewasa rulerof the synagogue:andhe fell downatJesus'feet,and besoughthimthat he would comeintohishouse:42Forhehadone onlydaughter,abouttwelveyears of age,andshelay a dying.Butashewentthe peoplethrongedhim.
43Anda womanhavingan issueof bloodtwelveyears,whichhad spentallher livinguponphysicians,neithercouldbe healedofany,44Camebehind[him], and touchedthe borderof hisgarment:andimmediatelyherissueof bloodstanched.45AndJesussaid,Whotouchedme?Whenalldenied,Peterandthey that were withhimsaid,Master,the multitudethrongtheeandpress[thee], andsayestthou, Whotouchedme?46AndJesussaid,Somebodyhath touchedme:forIperceivethat virtueis goneout ofme.47Andwhen the womansawthatshe wasnothid,she cametrembling,andfalling down beforehim,she declaredunto himbeforeallthe peopleforwhatcauseshe had touchedhim,andhowshe was healedimmediately.48Andhe saidunto her,Daughter,be of good comfort:thyfaithhath madetheewhole;goinpeace.
49While heyetspake,there comethonefromthe ruler of the synagogue's[house], sayingto him,Thydaughteris dead;troublenotthe Master.50Butwhen Jesusheard[it], he answeredhim,saying,Fear{5737} not:believeonly,andshe shall be made whole.51Andwhen he cameintothe house,he sufferednomanto go in,savePeter,andJames,andJohn,andthe fatherandthe motherof the maiden.52Andallwept,andbewailedher:buthe said,Weepnot;she isnotdead,butsleepeth.53Andthey laughedhimto scorn,knowingthatshe was dead.54Andheputthem allout,andtookherby the hand,and called,saying,Maid,arise.55Andherspiritcame again,andshe arosestraightway:andhe commandedto givehermeat.56Andherparentswere astonished:buthe chargedthemthat they should tellno manwhat was done.
