A Remnant in Zion
1And in that daysevenwomenshall take holdof oneman,saying,We will eatour own bread,and wearour own apparel:only let us be calledby thy name,to take awayour reproach.
2In that dayshall the branchof the LORDbe beautifuland glorious,and the fruitof the earth[shall be] excellentand comely forthem that are escapedof Israel.3And it shall come to pass, [that he that is] leftin Zion,and [he that] remainethin Jerusalem,shall be calledholy,[even] every one that is writtenamong the livingin Jerusalem:4When the Lordshall have washed awaythe filthof the daughtersof Zion,and shall have purgedthe bloodof Jerusalemfrom the midstthereof by the spiritof judgment,and by the spiritof burning.5And the LORDwill createupon every dwelling placeof mountZion,and upon her assemblies,a cloudand smokeby day,and the shiningof a flamingfireby night:for upon all the glory[shall be] a defence.6And there shall be a tabernaclefor a shadowin the daytimefrom the heat,and for a place of refuge,and for a covertfrom stormand from rain.
