KJV + Strong's The Second Plague: Frogs 1And the LORDspakeunto Moses,Gounto Pharaoh,and sayunto him, Thus saiththe LORD,Let my peoplego,that they may serveme.2And if thou refuseto let [them] go,behold, I will smiteall thy borderswith frogs:3And the rivershall bring forthfrogsabundantly,which shall go upand comeinto thine house,and into thy bedchamber,and upon thy bed,and into the houseof thy servants,and upon thy people,and into thine ovens,and into thy kneadingtroughs:4And the frogsshall come upboth on thee, and upon thy people,and upon all thy servants.5And the LORDspakeunto Moses,Sayunto Aaron,Stretch forththine handwith thy rodover the streams,over the rivers,and over the ponds,and cause frogsto come upupon the landof Egypt.6And Aaronstretched outhis handover the watersof Egypt;and the frogscame up,and coveredthe landof Egypt.7And the magiciansdidso with their enchantments,and brought upfrogsupon the landof Egypt. 8Then Pharaohcalledfor Mosesand Aaron,and said,Intreatthe LORD,that he may take awaythe frogsfrom me, and from my people;and I will let the peoplego,that they may do sacrificeunto the LORD.9And Mosessaidunto Pharaoh,Gloryover me: whenshall I intreatfor thee, and for thy servants,and for thy people,to destroythe frogsfrom thee and thy houses,[that] they may remainin the riveronly? 10And he said,To morrow.And he said,[Be it] according to thy word:that thou mayest knowthat [there is] none like unto the LORDour God.11And the frogsshall departfrom thee, and from thy houses,and from thy servants,and from thy people;they shall remainin the riveronly.12And Mosesand Aaronwent outfrom Pharaoh:and Mosescriedunto the LORDbecause ofthe frogswhich he had broughtagainst Pharaoh.13And the LORDdidaccording to the wordof Moses;and the frogsdiedout of the houses,out of the villages,and out of the fields.14And they gathered them togetherupon heaps:and the landstank.15But when Pharaohsawthat there was respite,he hardenedhis heart,and hearkenednot unto them; as the LORDhad said. The Third Plague: Gnats 16And the LORDsaidunto Moses,Sayunto Aaron,Stretch outthy rod,and smitethe dustof the land,that it may become licethroughout all the landof Egypt.17And they didso; for Aaronstretched outhis handwith his rod,and smotethe dustof the earth,and it became licein man,and in beast;all the dustof the landbecame licethroughout all the landof Egypt.18And the magiciansdidso with their enchantmentsto bring forthlice,but they couldnot: so there were liceupon man,and upon beast.19Then the magicianssaidunto Pharaoh,This [is] the fingerof God:and Pharaoh'sheartwas hardened,and he hearkenednot unto them; as the LORDhad said. The Fourth Plague: Flies 20And the LORDsaidunto Moses,Rise up earlyin the morning,and standbeforePharaoh;lo, he cometh forthto the water;and sayunto him, Thus saiththe LORD,Let my peoplego,that they may serveme.21Else, if thou wilt not let my peoplego,behold, I will sendswarms[of flies] upon thee, and upon thy servants,and upon thy people,and into thy houses:and the housesof the Egyptiansshall be fullof swarms[of flies], and also the groundwhereon they [are].22And I will severin that daythe landof Goshen,in which my peopledwell,that noswarms[of flies] shall bethere; to the endthou mayest knowthat I [am] the LORDin the midstof the earth.23And I will puta divisionbetween my peopleand thy people:to morrowshall this signbe.24And the LORDdidso; and there camea grievousswarm[of flies] into the houseof Pharaoh,and [into] his servants'houses,and into all the landof Egypt:the landwas corruptedby reasonof the swarm[of flies]. Pharaoh's Heart Hardened 25And PharaohcalledforMosesand for Aaron,and said,Goye, sacrificeto your Godin the land.26And Mosessaid,It is not meetso to do;forwe shall sacrificethe abominationof the Egyptiansto the LORDour God:lo, shall we sacrificethe abominationof the Egyptiansbefore their eyes,and will they not stoneus?27We will gothreedays'journeyinto the wilderness,and sacrificeto the LORDour God,as he shall commandus.28And Pharaohsaid,I will let you go,that ye may sacrificeto the LORDyour Godin the wilderness;only ye shall not goveryfar away:intreatfor me.29And Mosessaid,Behold, I go outfrom thee, and I will intreatthe LORDthat the swarms[of flies] may departfrom Pharaoh,from his servants,and from his people,to morrow:butlet not Pharaohdeal deceitfullyany morein notletting the peoplegoto sacrificeto the LORD. 30And Moseswent outfrom Pharaoh,and intreatedthe LORD.31And the LORDdidaccording to the wordof Moses;and he removedthe swarms[of flies] from Pharaoh,from his servants,and from his people;there remainednot one.32And Pharaohhardenedhis heartat this timealso, neither would he let the peoplego. |
