Living in the Spirit
(Galatians 5:16-26)

1Thereforethere is now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus.a2For the Law of the Spirit of life has set you freeb in Christ Jesus from the Law of sin and death.3For of the Lawbeing powerless in that it was weak through the flesh, God, having sent His Son in likeness of sin of flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh,4so that the righteousness of the Law should be fulfilled in us not walking according tothe flesh, but according tothe Spirit.

5For those being according to flesh mind the things of the flesh; but those according to Spirit, the things of the Spirit.6For the mind of the fleshis death; but the mind of the Spirit, life and peace,7because the mind of the fleshis hostility toward God; for it is not subject tothe Law of God, for not even can itbe.8And those being inthe flesh are not able to please God.

9Now you are not in flesh but in Spirit, if indeedthe Spirit of God dwells in you; but if anyone does not havethe Spirit of Christ, he is not of Him.10But if Christis in you, the bodyis indeed dead on account of sin, but the Spiritis life on account of righteousness.11And if the Spirit of theOne having raised up Jesus out fromthe dead dwells in you, theOne having raised up Christ Jesus out fromthe deadc also will give life to your mortal bodies, on account of His Spirit dwelling in you.

Heirs with Christ
(Genesis 21:1-8; Galatians 4:1-7)

12So then, brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to flesh.13For if you live according to flesh, you are about to die; but if bythe Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.14For as many as are led bythe Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

15For you have not received a spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have receivedthe Spirit of divine adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”16The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,17and if children, also heirs: heirs indeed of God, and joint-heirs of Christ, if indeed we suffer withHim, so that we may also be glorified together.

Future Glory
(2 Corinthians 5:1-10)

18For I reckon that the sufferings of the present timeare not comparable to the coming glory to be revealed to us.19For the earnest expectation of the creation awaits the revelation of the sons of God.20For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of theOne having subjectedit, in hope21that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of decay, into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

22For we know that the whole creation groans together and travails together until now.23And not onlyso, but we ourselves, even having the firstfruit of the Spirit, also groan ourselves in ourselves, awaiting divine adoption as sons, the redemption of our body.24For in this hope we were saved; but hope being seen is no hope; for does anyone hope for what he sees?25But if we hope for what we do not see, we await in patience.

26Now likewise also, the Spirit joins to help us in weakness; for we do not know the things which we should pray for as it behooves, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession with inexpressible groanings.27And theOne searching hearts knows whatis the mindset of the Spirit, because He intercedes forthe saints according to God.

God Works In All Things
(Ephesians 1:3-14)

28And we know that God works together all things for good to those loving God, to those being called according toHis purpose,29because those whom He foreknew, He also predestinedto be conformed to the image of His Son, for Him to be firstborn among many brothers.30And those whom He predestined, these also He called; and whom He called, these also He justified; and whom He justified, these also He glorified.

31What then will we say to these things? If Godis for us, whocan be against us?32For He who spared not the own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, with Him, grant us all things?33Who will bring an accusation againstthe elect of God? Godis theOne justifying.34Whois theone condemning? For it is Christ Jesus, theone having died, now rather having been raised up, who is also atthe right hand of God, and who is interceding for us.

More than Conquerors
(Psalm 44:1-26)

35Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?36As it has been written:

“For Your sake we face death all the day;

we were regarded as sheep of slaughter.”d

37But in all these things, we more than conquer through theOne having loved us.38For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,39nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
