A Song of Praise to God Coming in Judgment
1Oh, sing to theLord a new song!
Sing to theLord, all the earth.
2Sing to theLord, bless His name;
Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.
3Declare His glory among the[a]nations,
His wonders among all peoples.
4For theLordis great and greatly to be praised;
Heis to be feared above all gods.
5For all the gods of the peoplesare idols,
But theLord made the heavens.
6Honor and majestyare before Him;
Strength and beautyare in His sanctuary.
7Give[b] to theLord, O families of the peoples,
Give to theLord glory and strength.
8[c]Give to theLord the glorydue His name;
Bring an offering, and come into His courts.
9Oh, worship theLord in the beauty of holiness!
Tremble before Him, all the earth.
10Say among the[d]nations, “TheLord reigns;
The world also is firmly established,
It shall not be[e]moved;
He shall judge the peoples righteously.”
11Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad;
Let the sea roar, and[f]all its fullness;
12Let the field be joyful, and all thatis in it.
Then all the trees of the woods will rejoice
13 before theLord.
For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth.
He shall judge the world with righteousness,
And the peoples with His truth.
