Don't Rebuke Me in Your Anger
{{To the chief Musicianon Neginothupon Sheminith,A Psalmof David.}} O LORD,rebukeme not in thine anger, neither chastenme in thy hot displeasure.
Have mercyupon me, O LORD;for I [am] weak:O LORD,healme; for my bonesare vexed.
My soulis also sorevexed:but thou, O LORD,how long?
Return,O LORD,delivermy soul:oh saveme for thy mercies'sake.
For in death[there is] no remembranceof thee: in the gravewho shall give thee thanks?
I am wearywith my groaning;all the nightmake I my bedto swim;I watermy couchwith my tears.
Mine eyeis consumedbecause of grief;it waxeth oldbecause of all mine enemies.
Departfrom me, all ye workersof iniquity;for the LORDhath heardthe voiceof my weeping.
The LORDhath heardmy supplication;the LORDwill receivemy prayer.
Let all mine enemiesbe ashamedand sorevexed:let them return[and] be ashamedsuddenly.
