(Leviticus 5:14-19;Leviticus 6:1-7) 1Likewise this [is] the lawof the trespass offering:it [is] mostholy.2In the placewhere they killthe burnt offeringshall they killthe trespass offering:and the bloodthereof shall he sprinkleround aboutupon the altar.3And he shall offerof it all the fatthereof; the rump,and the fatthat covereththe inwards,4And the twokidneys,and the fatthat [is] on them, which [is] by the flanks,and the caul[that is] above the liver,with the kidneys,it shall he take away:5And the priestshall burnthem upon the altar[for] an offering made by fireunto the LORD:it [is] a trespass offering.6Every maleamong the priestsshall eatthereof: it shall be eatenin the holyplace:it [is] mostholy.7As the sin offering[is], so [is] the trespass offering:[there is] onelawfor them: the priestthat maketh atonementtherewith shall have [it].8And the priestthat offerethany man'sburnt offering,[even] the priestshall have to himself the skinof the burnt offeringwhich he hath offered.9And all the meat offeringthat is bakenin the oven,and all that is dressedin the fryingpan,and in the pan,shall be the priest'sthat offerethit.10And every meat offering,mingledwith oil,and dry,shall all the sonsof Aaronhave, one[as much] as another. The Peace Offering
(Leviticus 3:1-17) 11And this [is] the lawof the sacrificeof peace offerings,which he shall offerunto the LORD.12If he offerit for a thanksgiving,then he shall offerwith the sacrificeof thanksgivingunleavenedcakesmingledwith oil,and unleavenedwafersanointedwith oil,and cakesmingledwith oil,of fine flour,fried.13Besides the cakes,he shall offer[for] his offeringleavenedbreadwith the sacrificeof thanksgivingof his peace offerings.14And of it he shall offeroneout of the whole oblation[for] an heave offeringunto the LORD,[and] it shall be the priest'sthat sprinkleththe bloodof the peace offerings. 15And the fleshof the sacrificeof his peace offeringsfor thanksgivingshall be eatenthe same daythat it is offered;he shall not leaveany of it until the morning.16But if the sacrificeof his offering[be] a vow,or a voluntary offering,it shall be eatenthe same daythat he offerethhis sacrifice:and on the morrowalso the remainderof it shall be eaten:17But the remainderof the fleshof the sacrificeon the thirddayshall be burntwith fire.18And if [any] of the fleshof the sacrificeof his peace offeringsbe eatenat allon the thirdday,it shall not be accepted,neither shall it be imputedunto him that offerethit: it shall be an abomination,and the soulthat eatethof it shall bearhis iniquity. 19And the fleshthat touchethany unclean[thing] shall not be eaten;it shall be burntwith fire:and as for the flesh,all that be cleanshall eatthereof.20But the soulthat eateth[of] the fleshof the sacrificeof peace offerings,that [pertain] unto the LORD,having his uncleannessupon him, even that soulshall be cut offfrom his people.21Moreover the soulthat shall touchany unclean[thing, as] the uncleannessof man,or [any] uncleanbeast,or any abominableunclean[thing], and eatof the fleshof the sacrificeof peace offerings,which [pertain] unto the LORD,even that soulshall be cut offfrom his people. Fat and Blood Forbidden 22And the LORDspakeunto Moses,saying,23Speakunto the childrenof Israel,saying,Ye shall eatno manner of fat,of ox,or of sheep,or of goat.24And the fatof the beast that dieth of itself,and the fatof that which is torn with beasts,may be usedin any other use:but ye shall in no wiseeatof it.25For whosoever eateththe fatof the beast,of which men offeran offering made by fireunto the LORD,even the soulthat eateth[it] shall be cut offfrom his people.26Moreover ye shall eatno manner of blood,[whether it be] of fowlor of beast,in any of your dwellings.27Whatsoever soul[it be] that eatethany mannerof blood,even that soulshall be cut offfrom his people. The Priests' Portion 28And the LORDspakeunto Moses,saying,29Speakunto the childrenof Israel,saying,He that offereththe sacrificeof his peace offeringsunto the LORDshall bringhis oblationunto the LORDof the sacrificeof his peace offerings.30His own handsshall bringthe offeringsof the LORDmade by fire,the fatwith the breast,it shall he bring,that the breastmay be waved[for] a wave offeringbeforethe LORD.31And the priestshall burnthe fatupon the altar:but the breastshall be Aaron'sand his sons'.32And the rightshouldershall ye giveunto the priest[for] an heave offeringof the sacrificesof your peace offerings.33He among the sonsof Aaron,that offereththe bloodof the peace offerings,and the fat,shall have the rightshoulderfor [his] part.34For the wavebreastand the heaveshoulderhave I takenof the childrenof Israelfrom off the sacrificesof their peace offerings,and have giventhem unto Aaronthe priestand unto his sonsby a statutefor everfrom among the childrenof Israel. 35This [is the portion] of the anointingof Aaron,and of the anointingof his sons,out of the offeringsof the LORDmade by fire,in the day[when] he presentedthem to minister unto the LORDin the priest's office;36Which the LORDcommandedto be giventhem of the childrenof Israel,in the daythat he anointedthem, [by] a statutefor everthroughout their generations. 37This [is] the lawof the burnt offering,of the meat offering,and of the sin offering,and of the trespass offering,and of the consecrations,and of the sacrificeof the peace offerings;38Which the LORDcommandedMosesin mountSinai,in the daythat he commandedthe childrenof Israelto offertheir oblationsunto the LORD,in the wildernessof Sinai. |
