Unlawful Sexual Relations
(Matthew 5:27-30)
1And the LORDspakeunto Moses,saying,2Speakunto the childrenof Israel,and sayunto them, I am the LORDyour God.3After the doingsof the landof Egypt,wherein ye dwelt,shall ye not do:and after the doingsof the landof Canaan,whither I bringyou, shall ye not do:neither shall ye walkin their ordinances.4Ye shall domy judgments,and keepmine ordinances,to walktherein: I [am] the LORDyour God.5Ye shall therefore keepmy statutes,and my judgments:whichif a mando,he shall livein them: I [am] the LORD.
6None of you shall approachto anythat is nearof kinto him, to uncover[their] nakedness:I [am] the LORD.7The nakednessof thy father,or the nakednessof thy mother,shalt thou not uncover:she [is] thy mother;thou shalt not uncoverher nakedness.8The nakednessof thy father'swifeshalt thou not uncover:it [is] thy father'snakedness.9The nakednessof thy sister,the daughterof thy father,or daughterof thy mother,[whether she be] bornat home,or bornabroad,[even] their nakednessthou shalt not uncover.10The nakednessof thy son'sdaughter,or of thy daughter'sdaughter,[even] their nakednessthou shalt not uncover:for theirs[is] thine own nakedness.11The nakednessof thy father'swife'sdaughter,begottenof thy father,she [is] thy sister,thou shalt not uncoverher nakedness.12Thou shalt not uncoverthe nakednessof thy father'ssister:she [is] thy father'snear kinswoman.13Thou shalt not uncoverthe nakednessof thy mother'ssister:for she [is] thy mother'snear kinswoman.14Thou shalt not uncoverthe nakednessof thy father'sbrother,thou shalt not approachto his wife:she [is] thine aunt.15Thou shalt not uncoverthe nakednessof thy daughter in law:she [is] thy son'swife;thou shalt not uncoverher nakedness.16Thou shalt not uncoverthe nakednessof thy brother'swife:it [is] thy brother'snakedness.17Thou shalt not uncoverthe nakednessof a womanand her daughter,neither shalt thou takeher son'sdaughter,or her daughter'sdaughter,to uncoverher nakedness;[for] they [are] her near kinswomen:it [is] wickedness.18Neither shalt thou takea wifeto her sister,to vex[her], to uncoverher nakedness,beside the other in her life[time].
19Also thou shalt not approachunto a womanto uncoverher nakedness,as long as she is put apartfor her uncleanness.20Moreover thou shalt notliecarnallywith thy neighbour'swife,to defilethyself with her.21And thou shalt notlet any of thy seedpassthrough [the fire] to Molech,neither shalt thou profanethe nameof thy God:I [am] the LORD.22Thou shalt not liewith mankind,as withwomankind:it [is] abomination.23Neither shalt thouliewith any beastto defilethyself therewith: neither shall any womanstandbeforea beastto lie downthereto: it [is] confusion.
24Defilenot ye yourselves in any of these things:for in all these the nationsare defiledwhich I cast outbeforeyou:25And the landis defiled:therefore I do visitthe iniquitythereof upon it, and the landitself vomiteth outher inhabitants.26Ye shall therefore keepmy statutesand my judgments,and shall not commit[any] of these abominations;[neither] any of your own nation,nor any strangerthat sojournethamongyou:27(For all theseabominationshave the menof the landdone,which [were] beforeyou, and the landis defiled;)28That the landspue not you outalso, when ye defileit, as it spued outthe nationsthat [were] beforeyou.29For whosoever shall commitany of these abominations,even the soulsthat commit[them] shall be cut offfrom amongtheir people.30Therefore shall ye keepmine ordinance,that [ye] commitnot [any one] of these abominablecustoms,which were committedbeforeyou, and that ye defilenot yourselves therein: I [am] the LORDyour God.
