This version brought the Farming Simulator game to mobile devices, being available on both Android and iOS. Although the game sells for a low price, many of the higher-end vehicles and equipment are in-game purchases which can be made through the stores on each respective mobile platform.

This version included three crops: Corn, Canola and Wheat. Farming Simulator 2012 included equipment from such brands as Deutz-Fahr, Krone, Krampe, Amazone, Lemken and Kotte.
