The Utah County American Party Collection primarily documents the Utah County chapter of the party. The collection contains the by-laws and list of members' names from the year 1975-1992. Included with the collection are documents and newspaper clippings concerning issues with which the party dealt. Also included are party platforms, news releases, fiscal reports and some letters between members and party leaders. Some minutes of meetings and agendas are also present as well as American Party literature and some audio tapes of meetings.

Permission to publish material from the Utah County American Party collection must be obtained from the Supervisor of Reference Services and/or the L. Tom Perry Special Collections Board of Curators.

The collection was kept in the possession of the party secretaries until 1992, when the present secretary and officer, Jameston Bradford, donated the collection to Brigham Young University.
