The Design for Aging Resources website was created in response to a growing need for design that reflects the realities, needs, and aspirations of our aging population.
When we experience outside urban places as if they are interiors, we experience public interiority, blending our lived experiences with intersectional theories on interiors, urbanity, and society. This idea prioritizes the interior’s primary features.
To expand the modes in which design research is typically disseminated, the work of the project is presented through a graphic novel, exhibition, as well as a short, animated film.
