元増田です。

deep researchを使うと必ず一回はリサーチの方針を固めるための質問を聞き返してくるので、「具体的には～」の手前で区切って2回に分けて投稿した。この聞き返してくる質問（具体的に調べることの例示）によって「ああそういうのを調べるのもいいね」ってヒントになったりするので、自分で直接使うと使い勝手もちょっと変わるかもしれない。

ちなみに

シェアしたページからは見れないけど、どういうふうに調べていってるのか推論過程が表示されている。ChatGPTの言語設定によってその言語も変わるものの、それが結果に影響するのかは不明瞭だ（使っている印象ではただの飾りっぽくも見える）。仮に影響するとしたら、少なくともdeep research用のモデル（OpenAIはこれ専用のモデルがあると述べている）だと日本語の拙さが若干漏れ出ているので、言語設定は英語のままでいいや…という気持ちになった。

■世界銀行の男女格差 調査の中身を見てみた2023

昨年、こちらの記事を書いた増田です。

昨年書いた記事が予想外に多くの人に読まれたため、改めて前回省略したところも含めて差分や内容を見ていきたい。

なお、順位は103位→104位なので横ばい。

調査の概要

大項目は変わらず、Mobility,Workplace, Pay,Marriage, Parenthood,Entrepreneurship,Assets, Pensionの8項目がそれぞれ100点満点で評価されている。

得点および内訳も昨年と同じ。

それでは以下、減点された部分を見ていく。

Workplace

Pay

減点項目、内容とも昨年と変更なし。

「同一労働同一賃金」「危険業務への従事」「工業系業務への従事」「セクハラ防止」「セクハラに関する罰則」がNGとなっている。

Marriage

評価項目が4つあり、日本はそのうちひとつがNG。

NGとなった項目とその理由は以下のとおり（以下、日本語の意味は機械翻訳を参照している。理解が違っていたら教えてほしい）。

再婚の権利

質問：Does awoman have the same rights to remarryas aman?（女性にも男性と同じように再婚する権利があるのでしょうか？）

NG 理由：Civil Code,Art. 733（民法733条）

該当する条文は以下のとおり。

再婚禁止期間って撤廃されたんじゃ？と思って調べてみたけど、どうやら方針は決まっているもののまだ法案が成立していないっぽい。

民法改正後はここはOKになると思われる。

評価項目が4つあり、日本はそのうちひとつがNG。

NGとなった項目とその理由は以下のとおり。

クレジットへのアクセス

質問：Does the law prohibit discrimination inaccess to credit basedon gender?（法律では、性別によるクレジットへのアクセスの差別を禁止していますか？）

NG 理由：No applicable provisions could be located（該当する規定は見つかりませんでした）

これは「資金の借入（access to credit）における性差別を禁止する法律が無い」ということらしい（増田情報）。

2021年のWEZZYの記事によると「アメリカに住んでいると金融アクセスへの差別は教育政策分野にいても見かけるぐらい激しく議論がされています」とのこと。

世界銀行による男女格差の調査で日本の順位が80位から103位に落ちたとのこと。

このページを見るとわかるとおり、得点はMobility,Workplace, Pay,Marriage, Parenthood,Entrepreneurship,Assets, Pensionの8項目がそれぞれ100点満点で評価されており、日本はPayとWorkplaceの評価が特に低い。

というわけで、中身を見ていく。

Pay

評価項目が4つあり、日本はそのうちひとつだけが該当している。

同一労働同一賃金

個人的にはなんか釈然としないところがあるけど、まあ判断は読んだ人がそれぞれすればいいと思う。

少なくとも得点だけを見るのとは少し印象が変わるんじゃないかな。

他の項目とか時系列での変化なんかは追えていないので、誰か教えてくれると大変ありがたいです。

Iam currently workingat afactory in a department where I work dayshift and nightshift. Myworkplace is in the countryside, where the neareststation is astation whereonly regulartrains stop, and Ilive in a cheapapartment near astation whereonly regulartrains stop. If I work the nightshift, I have to wait for thetrain for 30 minutes no matter whenit ends.

Ionce hated these 30 minutes.

Factory workis boring.It just repeats the same process. Theonly way I can cope with boredomis to think while working, or totake advantage of thenoisy environment and singat a decent volume. Ididn't want to spend 30 minutes of idletime after such boredomwas over, I wanted togo home early,eat, drink andgo tobed, and I had no other feelings.

About this time last year, Istarted writing down things I'd been thinking about in my workday when Iwas bored,as a 30-minute reprieve from boredom. Iam not asmart man,as manyfactory workers probably are. The longest I've ever writtenis perhaps atwo-page,one-line book report.I struggled to come upwith the best way toexpress myself while Iwas on shift, and I wroteit down while smoking a cigarette in the smokingarea near thestation. I canwrite about 1,000 or 2,000 words,more than threetimes the length oftwo pages andone line, without any difficulty.

Thus, Istarted to use these 30 minutesonly for writing. Since then, I've spent mydays findingsomething towrite about for those 30 minutes, figuringout how towrite it during myshift,and actually writingit while waiting thetrain.

Igot a glimpse of thejoy of writing freely, writing words that noone elsewill ever know.

On the first day ofDecember,it was decided that I would be reassigned to a department that did not have a nightshift, starting inApril.It's a full-time day job that I've been waiting for for thelast year, but afterApril I might beaway from writing. When I thought about this, Ifelt the urge to havesomeone else read my writing.

Istarted this writingon December 2, 9 nightshifts = 4.5 hours, so far about 800 words. Oddly enough,it's close totwo pages andone line. Themoment I wantsomeone to read my writing, I findit very difficult towrite. However, I'mproud to say that this text makes a lotmore sense than thetwo pages andone line Ionce wrote,and aboveall, Iwas never bored while writingit.

I wonder ifI will still be writing sinceApril. We won't know that untilthe time is right. However,I will say this.
