Today was one of thosedays that reminds uswhy we do what we do.

The day began with an urgent call from a family in Patna. Their lovedone had suffered amajor cardiac event and needed to be transported to Delhi forspecialized care. Within minutes, ourair ambulanceteam sprang intoaction—coordinatingdoctors, checking equipment, preparing theaircraft, and ensuring every second counted.

By noon, the patientwas stabilizedand airborne. Watching theaircrafttake off was a quiet, powerfulmoment. Behind thelogistics, the calls, and the checklists, there’s always a family holdingon tohope. Andit’s our job to carry thathope safely across the skies.

Meanwhile, inanother corner ofthe city, ourroad ambulance teamwas transferring a trauma patient from Gaya to Patna. Despite traffic,heat, and pressure, our paramedics remainedcalm, focused, and compassionate. Everyheartbeat matters, and they knowit.

Eventually, an investigation came to Cinderella'shouse. That's when weall lookedat her mother and child aftershe was discharged from the hospital, and of courseher sister didn'tfit.

Soall that was leftwas Cinderella. Then,her sister said to Cinderella, ``Hell suitsyou better than this world.''

She was of course the perfect size for Cinderella.

However,she protestedher innocence, saying that I hadn'tgone to the ball and therewas nodress anywhere inthe house to proveit.

However, theprince showedhim anempty pack of cigarettes that had been discarded in a trash can and said, ``This is the samebrand that the criminalwas smoking that time.Why?''

Then Cinderella grinned and

I unbuttonedall the buttonson her jacket.

She said, ``Afterall, Ifeel like dancingwith the GrimReaper. Right,little prince?''she said.

ありがたい！個人的には、賛否両論だったジョエル・ロブションはやっぱりクロワッサンでは別格だと思うが…vironや近くのエシレのやつより美味しいぞ。日本で一番美味しいクロワッサンだと思うがあれを越すやつあるのであったらぜひ知りたい…

アンデルセン（東京駅構内、上野、品川駅構内）：呪術廻戦の七海のカスクートはここ。東京駅店にしか確かないクイニーアマンが美味しい。

THE CITY BAKERY（銀座）：ポテトを練り込んだフォカッチャが美味しい。NY系。※NYのベストベーカリーはSullivanStreetBakeryだと思うが、日本に上陸していない。

ペル・エ・メール（豊洲）：オタク女子が遠征の度寄るほど美味しいと言っていたが確かにバタールなど普通に美味しかった。

オリミネベーカーズ（築地・人形町・勝鬨・新大橋）：ここもチャバタとかカレンズとかライ麦パンが美味しい。

フォートナム&メイソン（三越前）：食事パンが美味しいし、本国に比べて小ぶりのスコーンも安定の美味しさな気はする。値段もそんなに高くない記憶が（株主になると１割引だし）。

あとはドイツ文化会館の１階のドイツ系パン屋とか、三越の地下にあるJohanのガレット・デ・ロワやミニクロワッサン？ビゴの店はマロニエの地下から移転中なのかな。ちょっと疲れたのでこれくらいにしてみる

休業中：ブーランジェリー銀座レカン（銀座）：とにかく美味しかった。名前を忘れてしまったが黄色い小さいパン。オリーブのチャバタ。レカンに行けば食べられると思うがコース3万円。

番外：clintonst. baking company（表参道）：ドミニクアンセル撤退後、貴重なNY系。マフィンとか、パンケーキのイートイン。昔は表参道アンデルセンが日本最強クラスだったと思うが、ビルは再建されていないし移転もしていない。広島に行かないとレストランがない。

あんまり報じられてないように見えるのだけどポルトガルが新型コロナですごいことになっている。

ではこのような事態にたいしてポルトガルの医療は対応できているのか、というともちろんそうではなくて、医療が完全に崩壊した結果こうなっている。

■Goodbye,the city ofdoves

どうも、はじめまして。とある表現者の端くれです。

ここ10年というもの、表現者の端くれとして、気の合う仲間とライヴ演奏活動をしたり、パーティーなどに神出鬼没して自由気ままな音楽のやり方を実践したりしてきましたが、今年2月にコロナ禍が到来してからはそんなわけにもいかず、ただひたすらに自分が今までやってきた音楽表現を反省することに時間を費やしていました。

それをするため、都内にあるとある「ライヴハウス」に度々寄らせてもらい、お客さんを呼んで行うライヴの域に達しない程度の弾き語りをさせて頂いたりしていましたが、思うところあり、本日 12月6日を最後に、その場所及びそこを活動拠点とする音楽仲間との接点を、表現者としての自分が精神的に落ち着くまでの間、解除させていただくことを自主的に決心致しました。

端的に理由を言うと、自分がその場所と関わり続けることが、何かの妨げとなっているとしか思えなくなったからです。

2017年の夏にその場所に初めて足を踏み入れてから、自分の表現者としての振る舞い方の幅が広がっただけでなく、より広義な音楽仲間との付き合い方を手に入れた気がしていました。過去作って恥ずかしさのあまり封印していた曲を掘り起こして堂々と歌ったり、慣れない類の音楽演奏に自分なりのやり方で絡む術を手に入れたり、色々と楽しい思いをしてきましたが、コロナの到来後、こうした音楽実践方法論が意味を持たなくなったばかりか、それによってある種の人を遠ざける結果になったのではと思わせる気配を、周辺人物数名の言動から感じ取れずにいられなくなり、その度に苦しい思いに駆られるようになりました。

なら、その事を一切考えずに人生を歩むのがベストなのです。そのために、自分が謝らねばならない相手が何人現れようが。

しかし、この決意をするにあたって決定的要因となったのは、つい2日前に目に飛び込んだあるニュースでした。

詳しいことは、そのニュースで告知された出来事の執行が遥か先の話ということで、ここでさえ語ることができません。基本的には、非常に目出度いニュースであり、自分もそう思ったはずです。もし、昨年11月のある日に「その場所」にいなければ。

その日、その場所で私は例によって、封印されていた昔の自作曲を歌っていました。本来なら、誰の心をも動かすはずのない曲の群れです。故に封印されていたのですから。しかし、その夜だけは違っていました。その後しばらくの間、かつてない規模で音楽的幸福を味わい、そして散りました。コロナのコの字も伝わってこないうちにです。その短い間の出来事が、まるで兆候のように感じられました。決定的な終幕は、「その場所」に導いてくれたある人に対して、自分が過剰に心配してしまったせいで訪れたのです。

その時に「その場所」との縁を切っておけばよかったんだと思いましたが、自分の音楽哲学を唯一受け入れてくれる場所を、そう簡単に蔑ろにできるわけがありません。そんな、自由な戯れへの捨てきれない思いを、コロナがぶっ壊しました。表面的には、です。

でも、結局一番情けないのは、自分の信頼されなさです。だからこそ、いい結果が出ないのです。

先の目出度いニュースに対して寄せられた嬉しいコメントの数に、改めて心を痛めました。そこまで見守られているのなら、自分如きに寄りかかる必要なんかなかったんじゃないかって。それに比べて、自分は何なんだ。いかなる建設的意見を呼びかけようが、誰も反応してくれない。

もう、自分は人に信頼されるために表現を行える身ではないのです。単に年輪を重ねた生きる屍ですから。文頭で一旦「表現者としての自分が精神的に落ち着くまでの間」としましたが、どうやらその時は自分が棺桶に入る時だと思われます。

以上、極めて個人的な見解になりましたが、従来行ってきた対外的音楽活動再開への道が益々狭まる一方なのは否めなく、今後は全く別のアプローチを探ることになるのは目に見えています。コロナの終息をそう簡単に願えないからには、今まで捉えてきた「絆」の在り方そのものを劇的に見直さねば始まらないのです。

「その場所」が誘ってくれた、全ての絆に愛をこめて。何よりも、命を大切にね。
