■イスラエルのIMIについて

イスラエルのIMI（Israel Military Industries）は、もともとは国営の防衛企業で、1940年代の独立戦争期にまで遡る歴史を持ってる

「戦争中に銃を自分たちで作るしかなかった」みたいな、切実な状況の中から生まれた組織で

その後、イスラエルの防衛産業を支える重要な柱として発展していった

有名なのは、やっぱり「ウージー」サブマシンガン

1950年代にIMIの軍人兼技術者、ウージー・ガルが設計して

それが世界中の軍や警察で使われることになった

コンパクトで信頼性が高く、扱いやすいってことで、映画とかでもよく出てくる

それ以外にも、ガリル自動小銃とか、ネゲヴ軽機関銃とか、イスラエル製の火器はだいたいIMIが絡んでる

弾薬や砲弾、装甲車両の一部なんかも開発・製造してた

■G7の共同声明の「自衛権」について

G7の共同声明の「a right to defend itself(自衛権)」が話題になっている。

少し調べてみると昔からイスラエルの自衛権ってどこまで適応するの？国際法的に問題じゃない？と議論となっていたという話。

普通に日本の報道機関では能力が足りなくて、報道できないでしょうねってぐらいこじれてる。

多分、石破首相もイスラエルの自衛権について質問されても、自国を守る権利ですねぐらいに意図的にすっとぼけると思う。

それを見越して日本の首相として声明に同意したのかもしれない。

まあ、欧米の意図してるイスラエルの"a right to defend itself"と日本人が思う「自衛権」は全然違うのは知っておいた方がいい。

例えば、2014年にパレスチナ系の活動家としても知られるアメリカのラトガース大学教授が、オバマのイスラエル擁護のスピーチも取りあげて記事を出してたりする。

要するに、イスラエルってパレスチナの土地を勝手に植民してるよね。そこをパレスチナ人に攻撃されたからと言って、自衛権でパレスチナ人を攻撃して言い訳ないじゃん、イスラエルが勝手に土地盗んでるんだから。国際法上も違法だよ。オバマはなんかイスラエル擁護してるけど。という記事。

アメリカの公共放送で有名なNPRなんかも2024年にズバリそれに関する『イスラエルの「自衛の権利」の意味。』という題のポッドキャストを出してる。こっちはパパブッシュとクリントン政権の両方で10年以上にわたり中東担当したデニス・ロス大使へのインタビュー。のらりくらりとしてる感じ。

こういう感じのは、たぶん他にも見つかるので、個々人で探してみてね。

多分イスラエルの自衛権って何？ってとこまでは議論してないんでじゃない？石破首相も取材されても適当に逃げるんじゃね？

そもそもワイには日本の報道機関がこれに関してまともに取材・報道できる能力があるとは思えない。

最近、日本のメディアってトランプの影響か国際関係の報道で露骨に日和ってる感じがするんよね。

声明文の感想。

イランへの非難の他にもイスラエルに関する語句、特に"a right to defend itself"とか"the security ofIsrael"あたりにもイスラエル寄り感出てるなーって感じ。

イランに関しては"theIranian cris is" なのにガザは"ceasefire in Gaza"で、ガザの停戦呼びかけだけで、ガザに"cris is"があるかどうかまでは書いてません！みたいにも読める。

G7 開催地、カナダ有数の自然豊かな観光地カナナスキスで集まってまったり話して、ガザという地獄を作ってるイスラエルを非難できないってすごい皮肉。

■映画「名もなき者/A Complete Unknown」を観ての感想

・映画「名もなき者」を観た。原題は「A Complete Unknown」。ボブ・ディランをティモシー・シャラメが演じていて、評判も良かったので。

【以下、ネタバレ注意】

・作中、ボブ・ディランは、フォークソング、カントリーミュージックを切り拓く若きミュージシャンとして描かれる。

・ポートランドのミュージックフェスティバルで演奏する。大人気。

・ミュージシャンとして成功し、人気を博したボブ・ディランは、フォークソング、カントリーミュージックの祭典で、エレキギターでがなり立てる曲を演奏する。観客はブーイングを浴びせる。騒音、雑音と罵られ、主催者側からも制止されているにも拘らず、最後まで我を通す主人公。

・アメリカの伝統、古き良き時代を伝えるカントリーミュージックを騒音でぶち壊すボブ・ディランを「裏切り者！」と罵る女性観客。叫んでいた言葉が「Judas！」だったのが印象的だった。

・ティモシー・シャラメは歌唱力もある立派な俳優だった。ギターを猛練習したのだそうだ。

・監督はジェームズ・マンゴールド/James Mangold。1963年ニューヨーク生まれ。

・伝統的価値観を破壊することで、外部勢力が浸透しやすくなる...穏やかで温かな音楽を、嘲笑的歌詞と爆音、騒音で取って代わる。音楽は大衆を聴き入らせる。洗脳技術にもなり得る。

・ボブ・ディランの実の姓はZimmermannと作中に出て来る。ドイツとユダヤ所縁の姓（German and Jewish (Ashkenazic)）だそうだ。
