"Jay Jay" Amoga In Paramasivan? - 21/09/2005

Remember a demure, sari clad Amoga in Saran directed Jay Jay opposite Madhavan? The film was a damp squib and Amoga had to pack her bags from Chennai after she was thrown out of a couple of films as the industry said that she could not emote!
But now Amoga has resurfaced in Bollywood as Ramgopal Varma's latest muse in Sarkar and now James, a la Urmila Matongar and Antara Mali.
This Marwari girl from Delhi is now Nisha Kothari (her original name) and has signed a few films mostly for strip tease act!
Now James is a flop and her wooden face is once again come for criticism. But the good news for sex-bomb Amoga oops Nisha is that she has been flooded with offers from Telugu and Tamil after seeing her sizzling sand dune dance in James.
Her bare-all attitude has caught the attention of the south and already she has an offer to do an item song with Vijay in Aadi and Ajit in Paramasivan. But Nisha is looking for heroine's role for which there are no takers!

Thirupathi will bring a turn around- 20/09/2005

People refer to director Perarasu as the lucky director. His first film stars Vijay, and so does his next film. Before the release of that film, is the pooja for Ajith's film.
Perarasu's success lies in his choice of stories. A man who makes sickles, a welder, a sound service operator are his local heroes.
Like in 'Thirupachi' and 'Sivakasi' there is a hero opening song in 'Tirupathi' too, for lyrics penned by?you guessed it?Perarasu!
"Thirupati vandhaa thiruppam Theepori pola iruppom Unakku maylay enakku maylay yaaru paaradaa Unnai enaai vaazha vacha saamidhaanadaa ...."
This song for which Ajith is going to shake his booty, has been recorded at AVM's RR Recording Studio, for music composed by Bharadwaj.
The song may say "Thirupati vandhaa thiruppam" but Ajith fans who were gathered outside the recording theatre say there will be a turning point during Diwali itself!
The reason? 'Godfather' is slated for a Diwali release!

Perarasu is the director of Ajith's first movie under the AVM banner, Tirupathi. Ajith has shed a lot of flab and looks years younger.
Tirupathi has been flaunted as an action flick in which Ajith plays the owner of a sound service firm. Sadha teams up with him for the first time. Perarasu has written all the songs in the film which have been set to tune by Bharadwaj. One song was recorded recently at AVM's RR theatre.
